2002 Alex Rodriguez Texas Rangers Rawlings Road Alternate Authentic Jersey 48. One of the most talented ball players to ever lace them up. Alex Rodriguez came to the Texas Rangers at the height of his powers in 2001 as the most feared hitter in the league outside of Barry Bonds. He posted his best offensive seasons in 2001 and 2002 leading the American League in home runs with 52 & 57 respectively and garnering the 2003 AL MVP. While his stint with Texas was brief, ARod was nothing short of electric for the Rangers. Shown here is Rawlings road alternate authentic. The Rangers used their blue colors as their primary road jerseys during that time. Rawlings supplied the Rangers uniforms during the early 2000s before Majestic was the universal MLB supplier. Jersey is in great shape for being 20 years old.
